St Peter’s has undergone a number of inspections in recent years. A full Ofsted inspection was carried out in October 2002 by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), and an Ofsted inspection of our nursery facilities was undertaken in January 2005. The Commission for Social Care Inspection carried out an inspection in the form of a consultation with our boarders in November 2004. During the day, they asked our pupils if they were happy and how they well were cared for. The summary of their findings is below. The summary findings were: Full Inspection – “St Peter’s is a very good school which provides a high quality of education and excellent standards of care to both boarding and day pupils.
