For New Pupils: Settling In
My First Day at St Peter's

“The first day at St Peter’s was really weird because it was a new school and it was going to be an odd day.

I started my day with English.  It was funny not knowing the names of all the teachers, but my guardian told me them.  He was really kind showing me all my classes and where to go. Before I knew it, the morning lessons were over and it was lunchtime.

At lunch, he showed me where the knives and forks were.  The lunches are really nice because it is cooked on the premises, not carried in in trays.  So lunch was over and we went out to play, but first I had to go and get changed into my tracksuit trousers.

We went back to lessons and my teacher name list was coming on, but before I knew it, it was the end of the day.  I left my first day at St Peter’s with a smile on my face.  It was a good day!”
