I started at St Peter’s School when I was 3 years old (Shell 3). I am now 13 years old and in Year 8. When I first arrived at St Peter’s School I was very young, but I was welcomed and treated with kindness. All the other pupils helped me to find my way around. I made many friends and from my first day at school I knew that I would enjoy my time here.
Throughout the time I have spent at St Peter’s School I have tried different sports and been in different teams. I have been successful in most subjects, but it is good to know that when you do not quite understand something the teachers are always there to help. At St Peter’s School you are treated how you expect to be treated – it is all about respect and politeness. As a result of this you get to know people a lot better.
The boys do rugby, football, hockey and cricket, and the girls do rounders, netball and hockey. The school has an outdoor swimming pool, which is great in the summer for the Swimathon and PE lessons. There are also tennis courts on site, which is great for tennis lessons, or just for a quick kick about of a football at lunch break.
There is a great boarding house with great staff. I do not board myself, but from what I have heard it is a fantastic experience.
The journey through St Peter’s School is lit with many bright lights and key checkpoints. Passing these checkpoints and getting your academic passport stamped on the way is a recipe for success.
At St Peter’s School you can mould your future and try to achieve your goals. As Mr Neeson, our headmaster, says, “Do your best to be the best”…
I do not want to leave St Peter’s School, and wish that I could stay beyond the age of 13. I hope that it will be the same for you. |
