Once there was a Learning Hub…Now there’s a Hublet!

One of the many improvements made to St Peter’s during last year’s summer break was the installation of the school’s Learning Hub – a central research and learning centre that gives the children a zone where they can focus on reading, investigation and productivity in a relaxed, stimulating environment.

As the hub is located in the main house, it made sense to make a small offshoot of the library available to our Early Years children and therefore we recently took delivery of, what its creator, Library Assistant Mrs Whitlock affectionately christened, our ‘hublet’. A small but perfectly formed library area situated in the reception area of the Early Years hall.

Now children in the younger years have a special place to explore a variety of books, from fun and factual to story and picture books, all within easy reach of their classrooms.
