The librarians met for the first time last Monday and there was great excitement and many enthusiastic comments about being part of the Library Team at St Peter’s.
We are really fortunate to have librarians working in the Hub and Hublet at each break and lunch time, during the week. They are there to help organise and tidy the libraries, as well as supporting those who need help finding a good read. If the little ones have a Library lesson in the Hub or Hublet that aligns with the older children’s lunch time, librarians are often seen working with the younger children; helping them to choose books and running the book borrowing system, happily checking books in and out. There is great rapport between the age groups, with all the children thoroughly enjoying the the opportunity to share a good read.
