A number of new staff have joined our St Peter’s community at the beginning of Michaelmas Term 2019. We plan to conduct a short, informal interview with each one to find out more about them!
Our second interviewee is Miss Georgie Scott, our new Sport & Boarding Assistant, joining Mr Rob Parker in the Boarding House to create a fun, friendly and welcoming environment.
Name: Miss Georgie Scott
Role at St Peter’s: Sport & Boarding Assistant
Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I’m 21 year’s old and a graduate from York University. I have a big family, to whom I’m very close. My father is a pilot, which has fuelled my passion and love for adventure and travel (which I plan on doing a lot more of in the future). I’ve always loved sport, particularly tennis, hockey and running.
What did you do before joining St Peter’s:
I went to Blundell’s School and then onto York University, where I studied Theatre: writing, directing and performance. It was an incredible 3 years, in a beautiful city, but it is lovely to be back in Devon!
What is your favourite thing about living in Devon?
Spending time with my family and friends, long country walks with the dog, and the county’s many beaches!
What hobbies do you have outside of St Peter’s?
Tennis, reading, walking, singing, going to the gym, travelling/exploring and cooking.
If you could describe your first week at St Peter’s in 3 words, what would they be?
Welcoming, diverse and joyful.
