Why board?

Along with breadth of curriculum and the high academic standards that you would expect from a prep school, we also offer the option of weekly boarding, in bright, comfortable rooms located in the main building.  The boarding house is much more than just a place to sleep. Here, children from age 7 have a great time enjoying a full programme of activities from juggling to riding, from beach trips to curling up in front of a DVD. Our boarders stretch their wings and become more independent within a secure and supportive family atmosphere.

There are many positive aspects to boarding at St Peter’s:
 

• Promoting independence and responsibility whilst preparing pupils for their senior schools

• An intimate, safe, family atmosphere with dedicated Housemaster and a full-time matron that encourages the development of a close-knit community

• Flexibility for parents & affordable options – overnight, for a few days or on a weekly basis (subject to availability)

• A full and exciting programme of activities – on and off-site - that both educate and entertain

• The chance to cement friendships made during the day
