A typical school day
Viewpoints from Year 8 Pupils

“A day at St Peter’s is usually quite fun, but you also have to work hard in the lessons.  There are lots of extra activities and music lessons.  The sports are very good.  The main sports (for boys) are rugby, football and cricket, but there are others that you can do like squash, tennis and hockey.  Overall, you have fun while learning.  The school also has good facilities and equipment.  A normal day will start at 8.30 a.m. and finish at 5.00 p.m.  We have seven lessons in a day and three breaks.  We have three games lessons a week and one PE lesson”.      Harrison Holder

“A typical day at St Peter’s has always got surprises round the corner.  You normally have games and the lessons are an hour long, but the time flies because you’re doing so much!  In music lessons, you use drums, keyboards, maracas and triangles.  You also sing and compose your own music.  We have loads of trips during the year, e.g. Canada, Portsmouth, France covering lots of different topics”.    Alex Kortland
