At St Peter’s we are proud of the achievement of all our pupils and through regular monitoring and assessing, we easily track the academic progress made by all.  We use the National Curriculum tests to provide ourselves with a benchmark, at both Key Stage 1 and 2, and we have had excellent results over the past few years.  Our pupils have also enjoyed success in obtaining places at the Senior Schools of their choice.  Many opt for the Scholarship route whilst others sit Entrance tests or choose the more traditional route of the Common Entrance examination.

Scholarships

St Peter’s offers Scholarships in Year 6 for existing pupils.  The range of awards is wide, from academic to music, sport and all-rounder.  In Year 8, our pupils have the opportunity to sit for a Scholarship to their Senior School and they have been rewarded with great success over the past few years.  The range of Senior Schools we feed is very wide indeed.  Thanks to regular communication with parents, we ensure that the choice of school suits the pastoral and academic needs of our pupils.
