Why board?

For New Parents: Boarding
My life as a boarder

Day in the life…

We roll out the beds

Scratching bleary heads

Destined for the power

Of an invigorating Shower

Time to get dressed

Beds made to impress

The keen shrewd judgement

Of  Matron and house parent.

Catch up with the news

Then the forming of the queue

Time to break the fast

‘Til break time it must last.

Croissants will it be

Or bacon sausage and beans

Fruit, yoghurt or cereal

So much choice you can’t eat it all.

For the food we eat – we say grace

Then off upstairs to brush teeth – wash face.

Off to school …

After prep we get changed for tea

Pasta, or, pie, perhaps spaghetti.

We need our food for energy

To all join in the activity

Swimming, kayaking, or is it movie night?

Street Dance – ‘Hey! look at Tom – what a sight!’

Cooking, bowling or various sports

Activities of all shapes and sorts

Quiet time now, time to relax

Rest weary brains and achy backs

A bit of telly or read a book

Then off to bed with that sleepy look.

Tomorrow is a whole new day

What adventures will come our way…

Making Gingerbread Houses at Christmas time.
