Exeter Chief tells the children "how"!

Exeter Chiefs ‘Centre’, Mark Fatialofa was invited by the school to watch the last match of the season:  St Peter’s 1st XV v Norman Court, from Wiltshire, who had arranged the fixture as part of their Sports Tour.

Whilst St Peter’s did not manage a win for their special guest, the play was fast and entertaining.  Mark Fatialofa was delighted to be a guest of the school.  ‘This has been  a really great afternoon,’ remarked the Samoan giant from Wellington, New Zealand.  He went on, ‘I started playing rugby at a very young age, so being amongst so many young enthusiastic kids  was a very familiar scene. They’re great boys and showed tremendous spirit.’

‘It was a wonderful afternoon for all the children at the school’, commented Rob Williams, Headmaster.  ‘It’s been fantastic to have Exeter Chiefs come to the school.  Mark Fatialofa even sat with the children at lunch in the Dining Hall.  He was very complementary about the quality of food, but I’m not sure how much he managed to eat – the children were pretty relentless with their questions and autograph requests!  He gave them a lot of time  – the children won’t forget this day in a hurry’.
